Emerging artists explore planetary transformations

Festival Exhibition

With the festival exhibition Instability, FIBER presents a range of emerging artists who respond to the transformative impact humans have on earth. Climate change, ecological crises and the underlying social and economic inequalities are causing global living environments to rapidly change into uninhabitable areas.

Slowly the absolute necessity for change is becoming more accepted, but what do these changes look like? And most importantly, what adjustments to our thinking about the planet – including thinking about ourselves – are needed to change course? Instability aims to contribute to this matter through artistic thoughts, experiences and imaginations.

COVID-19 Guidelines

FIBER works according to RIVM guidelines and ensures the safety of its visitors at all times. We work with reservations and time blocks of 2 hours. We clean in between. The exhibition also works with a separate entrance and exit. If you have any further questions, please contact us. Because some parts of the exhibition are inside, we advise you to wear a mask. This way we protect each other and ensure a safe experience.

Due to  the COVID-19 pandemic, the opening of the exhibition and the festival will be different than in previous years. There will not be a central opening, but we will welcome you personally at the entrance of the exhibition on Thursday 24 September

After having experienced the exhibition there is the possibility to have a drink, meet up and enjoy yourself at the hidden garden of the Tolhuistuin.
